Visual identity
As a Climatebase Fellow, I was tasked with creating a capstone in the climate space. Utilizing my design and branding skills that I have honed over nearly a decade in the advertising industry, I developed brand identities for other fellows’ climate startups, focusing on building user friendly one-sheeters from design elements available in Google Slides. This provided a design foundation for these WIP brands. Recognizing the whitespace within the industry, this capstone was meant to bring bold energy and excitement to the design of an equally exciting industry.
Homegrown is an app that connects small farmers and neighborhood gardeners with local customers to buy fresh produce. I wanted to bring that same small town feeling to the design, tapping into nostalgic fonts, friendly colors and retro layouts.
